Clinical Case

Adolescent scoliosis (Rx from a coronal plane)

Our patient began spinal rehabilitation with the GPR Souchard physiotherapeutic method. Thank God she managed to improve in 3 sessions the global posture and the degrees of scoliosis (reported in the X-ray that we share), we are still in process, and treatment will begin soon by functional oral rehabilitation to improve coordination and position of condyles and temporomandibular joint discs.

We will be accompanying our patient in her growth process to prevent scoliosis from worsening, and as far as possible to continue improving her grades.

Clinical Case

Adolescent scoliosis (sagittal plane Rx), cervical and dorsal inversion, and lumbar hyperlordosis.

Thank God for the improvement of the physiological cervical and dorsal curves (the yellow dot indicates dorsal kyphosis, which improved after GPR therapy). The red dot on the pre-therapy x-ray shows the inversion of the dorsal kyphosis.

The lumbar (the yellow dot on the waist above the L3 vertebra means that the center of gravity improved, and the hyperlordosis decreased, resulting in a healthier lumbar lordosis). The photographs show an improvement in aesthetics and global posture from all points of view.

Clinical Case

Bruxism and Temporomandibular Art.

Our dear patient was admitted to the GPR Souchard service with a history of deep bite, bruxism, lumbar hernia, and cervical, suboccipital, dorsal, and lumbar pain.
Several sessions of GPR Souchard  are performed in conjunction with functional oral rehabilitation that is used in this case stops (long tips that are placed in some dental pieces to prevent mandibular condyles from misaligning).

The radiological evidence is notorious when a better cervical lordosis curve and the position of the atlas and axis are exposed. Less temporomandibular rotation and increased temporomandibular joint spaces.
It is incredible to see how in the profile photograph less hyperextension of the knees is observed.

Clinical Case

Total hip replacement (post-surgical), chronic back pain, lumbar hernia.

Our dear patient is admitted with a history of hip dysplasia, right total hip replacement, left dorsolumbar scoliosis, lumbar disc herniation, and chronic lumbopelvic pain for 1 year and a half.

She has received a great blessing, in the first x-ray we note how the head and pelvis are located at the level of the line of gravity, and the vertebral bodies of the back and a little of the lumbar cross this same line; this favors the discharge of balanced weight in each segment of the skeleton (in each right / left hemibody), which prevents the patient from continuing with chronic pain.

Additionally, the intervertebral spaces of the lumbar spine increased, thus reducing disc pressures, especially on the lumbar hernia.
She currently practices swimming and pilates without complications.

Clinical Case

Extruded disc herniation.

Our patient is admitted with left radiculopathy, extruded lumbar hernia L5 – S 1, and left lumbar antalgic scoliosis.

Note the lines on the radiograph, after performing the GPR physiotherapeutic method Souchard managed to improve the lumbopelvic alignment.
In this way, he was able to stabilize the disc condition, flexibility, and joint mobility to facilitate trunk inclination and hip flexion when cycling.

Clinical Case

Bite improvement with GPR Souchard

Thanks to God and our Blessed Mother Mary, our patient improves her bite and overall posture.

Thanks to the effort and dedication of our patient, thanks to the support, wisdom, and commitment of the functional oral rehabilitator expert in jaw and posture, together with the

GPR Souchard, we can say that it is a successful case. This achievement is also thanks to the use of stops placed by the oral rehabilitator to reposition gives giving function to the jaw.

Despite all the progress we cannot deny that he will need orthodontics but with this gain, we are sure it will be easier.

Glory to God for letting us know the mystery of human creation. ❤
